Wow! This is an unexpected entry.
Contrary to what every authoritative music reviewer claims, IMO, ‘Blue’ isn’t Joni’s best album – it’s actually her second best album. To these ears, ‘For the Roses’ is her masterpiece. Serving as a critical essay on the music industry, this album is lyrically and musically superior, with complex and lush arrangements.
It’s the first Joni Mitchell album I fell in love with and, while most of her other ‘70s albums are exceedingly good, this one towers above them all.

Eu tenho uma relação afetiva muito forte com Blue, trata-se do álbum que me apresentou Joni Mitchell, lembra-me uma paixão dos anos 1990. Então é o álbum que mais ouço. Quanto aos demais dos anos 1970, claro, são formidáveis, os venho adquirindo aos poucos, pois é raro encontrar por aqui preços acessíveis e temos de importá-los com parcimônia. Blue, For the roses e Court And Spark são os meus preferidos.
